In my portrait creation I see the experience with the client as a journey of exploration and discovery rather than a one and done. The images can be in the studio or at a location of the client’s choosing. The focus is specifically on the individual and how they wish to be seen.
Personal photographic projects currently in creation focus on questions in relation to how our society views the natural world we live in but how as a society are withdrawing into a virtual world of disconnection with this natural world.
With my ceramics, I see them as unique individuals or as families. As individuals they have two different kinds of spatial characteristics. An exterior space that is seen and an interior space that is unknown.
